Mechanical engineer with many years of working experience in the industrial manufacturing and service sectors.

He worked for four years in a Fincantieri ship repair yard in Genoa with the duties of "order manager" and then as head of a mechanical workshop. Then for more than eight years at Lloyd's Register of Shipping with the duties of surveyor mainly in the testing and inspection of products for naval and non-marine uses. During the period he obtained important certifications, ISO 9001 Assessor at UK, NDE according to SNT TC 1A, Authorized Asme Inspector at US. He subsequently worked for about seven years at the DNV Certification Body with the role of Lead Auditor ISO 9001 and inspection activities. Since 2000 he has been Quality Manager at Caterpillar Fluid Systems, a manufacturer of steel reinforced rubber hydraulic hoses.

For some years he has been a freelancer and has obtained:

certification of Data Protection Officer (No. of Reg. DPO 2552 of KHC in accordance with the UNI 11697: 2017 standard) involved in the management of personal data protection;

certification according to the Axelos scheme for the Management of Risk;

qualification according to the standard ISO 29100 "Lead implementer" of data protection management systems.

In 2019 he also obtained the certificate Information Security Auditor / Lead Auditor UNI CEI ISO / IEC 27001: 2017 (15.03.2019 with Certification Srl - KHC).
